We went to a fancy restaurant,

The sign was black and white.

The lettering had fancy font,

And it was really packed tight.

We saw a five-cheese scramble,

Speckled with pepper, black and white.

Fruit cakes with slices of apple,

And fluffy cupcakes, taste so light.

Fancy cheese-cake,

Dripped in chocolate, black and white.

Hot croissants in the bake,

Oh, what a scrumptious sight.

Then came the waiter,

Dressed in a dress, black and white.

And exclaimed, “Hurry, tell me what to cater,”

“For we’re really packed tight.”

And I said “Oh, I want something simple,”

“Like an old movie, black and white,”

“Maybe just a sandwich, not a fancy french crumple,”

“Yeah, just that sandwich, yes, that’s right!”

Her face went black and white.

She didn’t even stop to mock,

Just ran away in fright.

I ended the meal after a (might I say) delicious sandwich,

And skipped out past the sign, black and white.

The waiter stared at me like I was a witch,

But I didn’t care, a slight!
